Introducing The ToSeven Mid-Drive
This is the exploded view of The ToSeven motor. It is a derivative of the venerable TSDZ2 that is still the best option for most. Like The TSDZ2 and The Rolls Royce of Mid-Drives, The Photon, The ToSeven is just 7.5#’s and torque sensing.
The ToSeven differs from the TSDZ2 in that internal gearing is a straight line (like The Photon) and requires no nylon gears to operate silently. This allows them to deliver a massive 160nm’s of torque in a totally legal motor! That is DOUBLE the most expensive factory motors and one and a half times the torque of a Model T!
The ToSeven also has the secondary mount I have always preferred on The TSDZ2. Perhaps more importantly, it is carried by one of our most supportive distributers.
The ToSeven uses more traditional square taper cranks instead of The Photon’s strongest hollow axle, splined cranks. It has a blue tooth interface nearly as capable as The Photon, allowing you to program your motor as needed (or disabling it to foil theft).
As you might expect, it is priced between The Photon and The TSDZ2 at $1495 installed ($300 less than The Photon and $300 more than The TSDZ2). I really want to work with this motor, so I am offering it for just $1295 to the first taker.
